  • Wrangling Office Acoustics With Sound Panels

    Customer Testimonials
Open offices are an excellent solution to utilize a small amount of space or leave a workplace free for collaboration. But with the openness often comes noise. And when employees need to work on separate projects, whether together or in teams, noise can reverberate and become excessive. SPARK Technoloy, LLC, was facing an office acoustics problem when they turned to Versare for our expert acoustical advice. SPARK employs professionals who are well versed in integrated systems engineering solutions for IT, communication, facilities management, safety and security, and more. They design turnkey solutions that are tailored to comply with the operational requirements and budgetary restrictions of their clients. Planning custom solutions for each customer takes a great deal of collaboration amongst employees. As we know, with collaboration comes noise. The company asked Versare to help them keep an open floor format, but combat the echoing sound of their open ceiling. Enter our amazing acoustic panels, which we create in our Minneapolis headquarters. Our Sound Stones use a premium construction of eco-friendly, non-toxic acoustical material (no fiberglass here) to dampen room noise and eliminate echo. SPARK is currently using the original ceiling sound panels, and doing so successfully. They have also integrated our wall-mounted Sound Stones. They chose colors that blend beautifully with their existing décor, as though we had tailored the products for them. The next phase of SPARK’s plan is to begin using the newest version of the Sound Stones (Ceiling) acoustic panels, which hang vertically rather than horizontally. With the combination of the three products, SPARK will be able to better control office acoustics and provide employees with an open office that is conducive to collaboration but is free of distracting, echoing noise.

  • Wall-Mounted Partition Creates Ministry Group Space

    Customer Testimonials
When churches want to separate their classrooms, they often come to Verare, a company that’s in a class of its own when it comes to portable partitions. Scot Conrad, Director of Maintenance for Countryside Baptist Church in Clearwater, FL, contacted Versare for help finding a partition to divide classroom space within their Children’s Ministry. Our wall-mounted StraightWall collapses when not in use. Conrad wanted a portable wall to fully separate the room into two separate areas while also absorbing sound. Versare asked Conrad for the dimensions of the room, along with specific requirements and desires for the church partition. Together, we decided on the Wall-Mounted StraightWall Sliding Partition. The StraightWall’s telescoping hinges allow the divider to open to the exact length Conrad needed while maintaining a perfectly straight line. Additionally, this sliding partition wall provides enhanced acoustical properties thanks to the Acoustical Fabric panel material option. The divider folds flush against the wall when not in use. The classroom area is now more private in both sight and sound, providing a comfortable area for activity and learning time. The sliding hinge design keeps panels in a straight line. In the end, Conrad was pleased with the results. "Versare was the only company that was able to meet Countryside Baptists Church's needs and expectations,” Conrad said. “Their partition has given us the ability to separate our different age groups for our Children's Ministry. This is especially important as our community continues to grow." The partition wall can accommodate various lengths.

  • Game Company Creates Private Space for Coders

    Customer Testimonials
Tech professionals, such as coders and game designers, often require additional privacy for projects. For example, a high-profile client might require a closed-off work area to protect privacy, or other employees might need to be separated to improve focus for immediate group brainstorming and coworking. Portable room dividers often come in handy as a way to create impromptu and flexible private areas for employees, while not altering the rest of the office space. Blind Squirrel Entertainment is a CA-based game developer who often takes on work for high-profile clients. Due to the competitive nature of the gaming world, these clientele are understandably concerned about protecting their IPs, so additional office privacy was required. Blind Squirrel sought out our Room Divider 360 partition to create a flexible, wraparound privacy wall around their dev teams. The patented rotating hinge design of the Room Divider 360 allows each panel to curve around their workspace and not interfere with their existing office layout - something their previous room dividers could not accommodate. The pushpin-accepting acoustical fabric dampens sound while allowing signage to be posted if desired. The software developer is now able to isolate teams quickly and easily when applicable. The Room Divider 360s can be opened, closed, and connected to create arrangements of any shape or size, so projects of varying scales can be enclosed in privacy. "After a 2,000 mile cross country road trip, the partitions arrived without a hitch," says Ron Blitzer, Director of IT and Facilities. "They look fantastic in our office space, complimenting our existing color scheme. The turnaround time was extremely quick and the service was awesome!"

  • Controlling Sound in an Industrial Office Space

    Customer Testimonials
Working in an industrial office has its upsides: an open office feel, interesting aesthetics, and flow of light, elimination of the stuffy feeling that traditional cubicles might cause. But industrial offices can also have downsides, one of which is excess noise. Luckily, Versare offers office partitions, portable walls, and acoustic panels to cut down on noise and make working in any office setting a more pleasant, productive experience. Modacto was founded in Minneapois in 2012 to help guide other businesses. They provide guidance with Salesforce software and help track growth to optimize the success of their clients. But noise within Modacto’s industrial office space threatened their productivity. They came to Versare for an affordable and stylish solution, something that would reduce noise and fit in with their modern office décor. We helped Modacto select our Sound Stones (Wall) acoustic panels and the freestanding Monolith sound panel, all in cloud gray acoustical fabric to coordinate with Modacto’s office. Each product is comprised of multiple layers of sound-dampening materials, including 100% recyclable, non-toxic 20mm 2000 gram density nonwoven polyester. A rigid mineral board honeycomb core provides a sound trap as the nonwoven layer absorbs sound waves. Thanks to a sleek, contemporary setup from Versare, Modacto can worry less about distracting sound and focus on providing their customers with great results.

  • Building a Maze With Portable Partitions

    Product Information
Sometimes, running a small business can feel like a real rat race—never being able to get through that maze and ahead of the competition. And other times, like in the case of CSM Sport & Entertainment, you get to build the maze for the amusement of other people. In this instance, the main challenge was figuring out what room dividers to use to build the maze. But that wasn’t a major challenge for Versare. CSM helps build businesses, brands and organizations through the power of sport and entertainment. They told us that they wanted to purchase portable partitions to build a life-size, outdoor maze for a public relations event. The dividers would need to be flexible enough for intricate configurations, bends, and curves. They would also need to be tough enough to withstand the elements. We had the perfect product: The Room Divider 360 in semi-translucent red polycarbonate. Because of the partition’s patented 360-degree hinge, the customer can create virtually any configuration imaginable. Variations in width—between 8’6” and 25’—allowed CSM to meet their large-scale needs and create walls of different sizes and arrangements, with the rotating hinge allowing circular formations. The durable polycarbonate panels were tough enough for the outdoor setting due to their shock-absorbing plastic construction. The daylight shining through the translucent red gave the maze an eye-catching burst of glowing color. In the end, CSM constructed an incredible maze out of partitions that attracted a great deal of publicity to their event. Once again, Versare helped a customer generate amaze-ing results.

  • U.S. Bank Stadium Arranges Space With Versare Dividers

    Product Information
U.S. Bank Stadium opened in Minneapolis last fall to large, enthusiastic crowds. Home of the Minnesota Vikings, the stadium quickly became a place to see and be seen during sporting events. Its popularity will culminate with the hosting of Super Bowl 51 next February. But what stadium operators didn’t anticipate was how extreme the crowds and traffic flow in and around the concourse area would be. Lines were spilling into the concourse and in between open concession stands. They also faced the issue of closing off each stand if needed during on-field events, like the 2017 Draft Party. Versare's polycarbonate partitions are tough enough to ward off the most rabid fans When stadium and foodservice operators approached fellow Minneapolis natives Versare for a solution, we were glad to help. We came up with the Room Divider 360 in a polycarbonate. It offers a level of privacy and flexibility, and it is easily washable. During open events, concession stands can now be easily separated from each other, creating an inviting space to purchase food without the crush of the crowds. In addition to polycarbonate panels, we also offer acoustical fabric and woodgrain laminate panel options. Check out the handy Versare partition panel guide to figure out what's best for your space.

  • Insurance Agency Ensures Privacy With Versare Cubicles

    Customer Testimonials
Barrood Agency, Inc. of New Brunswick, NJ, began as Barrood Real Estate in 1940. After 77 years of growth as a real estate and insurance agency, they still strive to keep the warmth and communal feeling of an open office intact. But they realized that they needed to provide privacy for their agents and clients. David Barrood came to Versare for a portable partition that would create separation and sound absorption. We suggested the Hush Panel DIY Cubicle Partition and it was the perfect fit. The customizable office partition is constructed of 2”-thick sound-dampening acoustical panels that are easily put together. Unlike standard cubicles, which require tools and several people to construct, Hush Panels slide together to save offices both time and money. The unparalleled ease of use and affordable price point are perfect for small businesses, which don't always have the time or budget to spend on setting up complex workstations. Barrood chose Hush panels with the transparent acrylic glass option, and the results were perfect (though as evidenced in the picture, some may prefer a little extra privacy). But don’t just take our word for it. According to Barrood, “The Hush Panel was able to give my agents a more private office feel, while still keeping our open floorplan intact. Versare was able to plan, design, and execute exactly what we envisioned to uphold our office environment.”

  • Versare's Clear Polycarbonate Room Divider Hits The Big Time

    Product Information
Marcus Lemonis is an entrepreneur who rose from orphaned Lebanese baby to millionaire status. His love for starting small businesses began when he started mowing lawns at age 12 and he hasn’t stopped since. Now, he uses his spending power and business knowledge to help struggling small-business owners make it in this competitive world. On CNBC’s The Partner, Lemonis is searching for the perfect business partner to help him run the companies that he invested almost $50 million in during the first seasons of his previous show, The Profit. While Lemonis and a group of competitive business leaders are the stars of the show, Versare’s very own sliding StraightWall partition plays an important role as well. Beginning in episode two of the show’s premiere season, you can witness the popular portable partition in all its glory. As the competitors plan ad campaigns to sell themselves as the perfect partner, the Room Divider 360—featured in the sleek Clear polycarbonate finish—serves as an excellent accent. And it’s available to easily roll into place when needed to divide space in the show’s open-office setting. A sturdy, flexible, and beautiful partition available in a variety of material and color options, the StraightWall is a great option for modern offices. The plastic polycarbonate finish, chosen by the makers of The Partner, is available in a classic clear, along with eight other colors, each with its own level of translucence, allowing light in while preserving privacy. The low-profile casters provide stability our competitors don’t provide and make it easy to move the divider where needed. When you’re looking for the perfect decorative, portable wall for your office, the choice is clear: Versare's StraightWall partition.

  • Versare's Lock-N-Block Increases Airport Store Security

    Customer Testimonials
Security is one of the many reasons that customers come to Versare for portable barricades. When warehouses, schools, and small businesses need to block off areas to keep merchandise and good safe, their choice is the Lock-N-Block Collapsible Security Gate. Chiropractic service Chiroport operates in terminal one of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport. Their services include trigger point massage, stretching, and adjustments. Because they operate out of a small location that opens directly onto the concourse, and since the airport has 24/7 traffic, Chiroport needed a system to securely lock the facility while closed. Furthermore, they needed this system to be affordable, acceptable by the airport, and functional to allow easy access and visibility to the business for advertising purposes during off hours. Versare’s solution was, of course, the Lock-N-Block. A portable, wall-mounted security fence, the Lock-N-Block Security Gate can be quickly collapsed or expanded and locked. The Lock-N-Block security gate is available in three durable finishes: silver, black, or yellow/black industrial powder coat, making it suitable for a multitude of settings. Chiroport chose a black finish to match their décor, and the gate’s 6’ height was more than enough to keep the office secure.

  • An Operable Wall Divides Office Space Easily

    Customer Testimonials
Open spaces are all the rage with startups and large tech companies these days, but more traditional companies often prefer a more structured approach to office organization. Dividing individual coworkers and departments is often conducive to productivity. Portable office partitions and walls from Versare are a great way to divide a workplace according to a variety of specifications. Kinder Morgan, headquartered in Houston, TX, is North America’s largest energy infrastructure company, owning and operating over 80,000 miles of natural gas and petroleum pipelines. They wanted to convert their open office setup with a large post down the middle. Because the post handily divided the two departments in the space, they were looking for a divider that would go around the post. They also wanted an office partition that would accommodate the high ceilings in the office, cover an open space, and cut down on noise. Versare’s solution to Kinder Morgan’s search was the Operable Wall Folding Room Divider. The Operable Wall is available in custom heights up to 12’, making it perfect for Kinder Morgan’s 9’6” ceilings. Available in lengths up to 19’2”, the hulking room divider can divide spaces up to 39’ when paired with mounting hardware. Although the portable wall is large, it is also easy to fold, with flexible hinges that allow slight movement on each panel, making it easy to fold around the huge post at Kinder Morgan. Because the acoustical panels on this office divider are 2” thick, it’s perfect for dampening sound. Overall, the Operable Wall was the perfect solution: a large, easy-to-install divider that would cut down on excessive sound and easily adjust to curve around the post in the middle of the space.
