  • Room Divider 360 Creates Classroom Space at Awaken Community

    Customer Testimonials
Many of Versare's customers come to us to buy dividers for church classroom space because of our unequaled quality at unbeatable prices. Awaken Community of St. Paul came to us in need of portable partitions for their Kids’ Community classes, we provided exactly what they needed. The Kids’ Community program at Awaken is open to children from preschool through 5th grade and is located within the church basement. #gallery-1{margin:auto}#gallery-1 .gallery-item{float:left;margin-top:10px;text-align:center;width:20%}#gallery-1 img{border:2px solid #cfcfcf}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption{margin-left:0;padding-left:0}  Mandy Taylor, Kids’ Community Director, wanted to separate the program from the youth group, where older kids gather for worship music, play ping pong, and have access to a lounge and kitchen. Additionally, she wanted to separate the preschoolers from the school age children. Part of the Kids’ Community is also allotted for infants’ cribs. Because the activities include singing, games, reading stories from scripture out loud, story discussions, art activity, and bonding time with the adult volunteers, sound dampening was a key need in the partitions used. Altogether, Taylor wanted to divide the space into six classrooms for the school children—one for each grade, kindergarten through 6th grade. Our solution: The Room Divider 360 in rye acoustical fabric. Taylor ordered six room dividers in total, all 25’ (nine panels) long. Thanks to the acoustical fabric, sound doesn’t bounce as easily between classrooms. The Room Divider 360 was exactly the partition that Taylor needed. "We love the flexibility of the product,” said Taylor. “We can roll them away when we need to expand the space for youth events or Mother's night. It is also great that we can easily tack art to the panels." In addition to The Room Divider 360, we offer a variety of other portable partitions and sound dampening products that are useful in just about any area that could use improved acoustics or space division needs.

  • Hush Panel Creates the Perfect Photo Booth

    Customer Testimonials
Libraries are so much more than just places to check out books and media; they are places to research history, genealogy, take classes, and more. Twinsburg Public Library in Twinsburg, Ohio, recently started offering passport photograph sessions to their patrons. But they needed to offer a private space to take the photos. That’s why Cari Dubiel, Adult Learning and Information Services Manager, came to Versare.Dubiel picked a nook in the library that was the perfect size for a passport photo booth, but it wasn’t private enough for taking pictures. Because they didn’t need to cover much area and only needed to fit a few people at a time, we chose the Hush Panel Configurable Cubicle Partition System, a tool-less and fully customizable workstation. With two finishes and over 20 colors, along with a variety of panel sizes, Dubiel had a lot of options. She selected our powder blue acoustical fabric, which adds sound-proofing and enhances privacy, with polycarbonate windows for light flow. • 360 Degrees of Versatility: The Versare Rotating Hinge

    Product Information
You’ve met some of our best portable walls and partitions, but now it’s time to meet the invention that sets us apart from the competition and makes those products special: our 360º hinge. Our unique hinge literally turns a full 360 degrees. Unlike our competitors’ ugly piano hinges that only allow 180º of movement and can pinch fingers, our hinge is comprised of two gear-like parts that smoothly turn together. With the natural motion of the 360º hinge, you can create a straight line, “C,” or “L” shape from our partitions without the hassle of traditional, stiff hinges. Our patented hinge design allows a full range of movement per panel Four of our premium partitions—the Room Divider 360, The Privacy Screen, Work Station Screens and the Quick-Wall (folding)—feature the 360º hinge. With the Work Station Screens, you can create freestanding cubicles of different sizes depending on the size of teams in each department. The special hinge allows you to arrange the two- or three-panel screens according on your needs. Use the Quick-Wall to divide classroom space or open offices with a straight wall, create booths for conferences, or divide unusually shaped rooms with a zig-zag. For a stationary but similarly flexible room divider, the Privacy Screen is excellent for voting booth shapes, quick nursing stations, and more. And of course there’s the Room Divider 360, a customer favorite because of its various size options and versatility. Use our Room Divider 360 to create any shape for any space! While these dividers are all perfect for home, office, and classroom use, they can also be used for a variety of outside-the-box purposes. Our Room Divider 360 has been used to maintain security and order at Port Authority in Bayonne, New Jersey, and to even build a maze for our customers. That’s right: The 360º hinge is so flexible that you can arrange multiple dividers into a spiral-shaped maze. Thanks to another revolutionary Versare innovation, customers have countless options for dividing and enhancing spaces or creating new projects.

  • Music Room and Karate Dojo Divide Shared Classroom Space

    Customer Testimonials
Whenever businesses need to divide spaces for multiple purposes, they come to Versare for our quality portable walls and partitions. Because our privacy screens come in a variety of lengths, heights, colors, and materials, they can cover spaces of virtually any size. Whether it’s dividing a classroom space for use by different ages, creating rooms within an art gallery, or dividing a warehouse, Versare has you covered. Margit Griffith of Music Together of Arlington, Massachusetts, came to us for portable room dividers for her company. Music Together teaches music classes to children from 0 to five years old, along with their parents and guardians. Their classes focus on teaching children “basic music competence by experiencing music rather than learning concepts or information about music.” But the school currently shares a space with a Karate dojo, with all the equipment visible despite makeshift cardboard partitions and folding shoji screens. Griffith also hated how “junky” the cardboard looked and how flimsy and short the shoji screens were. Versare's VP6 partitions brought order and organization to the previously cluttered space Music Together needed a way to properly hide the Karate equipment to keep it from distracting the children during classes. But they needed affordable privacy screens because of their tight budget. Our solution was the VP6 rolling partition, made with lightweight and durable canvas. The VP6 is one of our cheapest room divider options, but its 1.25” round steel tubing frame provides premium build quality and keeps it sturdy, meaning children won’t topple it over. These portable canvas screens are easy to set up, so putting up multiple dividers around a room is a cinch. With the VP6, Music Together can block the other classes’ equipment without breaking the bank. “It took me (a girly girl) and my 83-year-old father (and a little Home Depot toolkit) 20 minutes to set up the first screen,” Griffith said. “The other three screens took 10 minutes, from cutting the tape on the product to rolling it into place. Couldn't have been easier! Clients of Music Together of Arlington are thrilled with having a more aesthetically pleasing music studio for making music together with their children and other families. The teachers are thrilled with NO MORE TEDIOUS SET-UP—they just roll things into place in seconds.”

  • How Versare Room Dividers Create Co-Living Spaces

    Company News
Versare has helped businesses in a variety of industries, including tech startups and co-working spaces. A new venture for us: co-living spaces. The booming tech industry in major cities on the West Coast, and the high cost of renting in those cities, has created a severe affordable housing shortage. And many short-term workers aren’t looking for long-term housing solutions. With the rise of price in high demand areas, shared housing is a great alternative to a long-term lease or a roommate who hasn’t been vetted. Many co-living apartment complexes are jumping in to fill some of this housing void. Generally, 2-4 people live in one apartment, with each room split in half—with portable partitions and walls—to maximize occupancy while offering some privacy. This is a great concept for young workers and college students. But what about people who are looking for a more traditional setup, like a home? Companies in San Francisco, like HubHaus, have begun to fill this void. HubHaus is a community of working professionals that bring people together to create a home. Like apartment co-living, the shared housing spaces will take larger rooms and split them in half to increase occupancy but retain the elements of a home. They will also wall off open living areas to afford privacy when housemates are looking for a temporary measure of privacy on a given day.HubHaus purchased several of Versare’s portable partitions to divide the rooms in their shared houses. Our StraightWall and Room Divider 360 are both easy to move, adjust, and store, and they provide the sound-proofing necessary in a shared living space. With both a stand-alone, accordion option and a fixed-wall option, it’s obvious why the Room Divider 360 is our best-seller. Its 360-degree hinges make it easy to curve into a variety of shapes, making it versatile for dividing living spaces. The StraightWall creates, well, a straight wall and also comes in a wall-mounted variety. Because this sliding partition wall can be adjusted to any length, it’s ideal for a shared housing situation. Our acoustical fabric is available in colors ranging from neutral to bright and modern, which makes our room dividers adaptable to a multitude of spaces. Versare and co-living spaces: a match made in heaven.

  • A Unique Office Space Requires Unique Cubicles

    Customer Testimonials
    Versare is a big advocate of community involvement and the arts. We are also experts at improving office arrangements and acoustics. So combining all of those passions into one project is always a treat for us. When Steve Mittelholtz, Facility Manager from the Minnesota Opera, came to us for help during their office remodel, we knew just what to do.Mittelholtz came to Versare’s corporate headquarters in Minneapolis to look at our office dividers in person. He wanted to create private cubicles for the employees at Minnesota Opera, without doing a large install or taking away from the aesthetics of the interior. His goal was to create an open office feel while maintaining the charm and architecture of the office building, which is part of the National Register of Historic Places. The obstacles were the large, original timber pillars within the building, which proved only a welcome challenge for our team of experts.The office space's unique interior and floor plan required a unique solution. We helped Mittelholtz choose the Hush Panel Configurable Cubicle System, which offers a plethora of panel sizes that, combined with our unique post-and-panel system, can create virtually infinite configurations. Each post and panel slides together, giving you complete control over how to shape your cubicle arrangement. It only took a small team and a couple hours to create attractive cubicles that worked in unison with the unique interior.Mittelholtz chose our sound-dampening acoustical fabric panels to ensure each workstation felt private. The 0.65 NRC-rated panels also helped to minimize the large space's echo and unwieldy acoustics. He also added optional translucent polycarbonate glass windows, providing some visibility and allowing light flow. The cubicles thus work in simpatico with the environment, allowing light to transfer, balancing noise, and adhering to the unique architecture."Versare was the right company for the Minnesota Opera to work with,” Mittelholtz raved. “We really enjoyed the fact that our partitions are made right here in our home city and state. The design and execution really exceeded our expectations." #gallery-1{margin:auto}#gallery-1 .gallery-item{float:left;margin-top:10px;text-align:center;width:33%}#gallery-1 img{border:2px solid #cfcfcf}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption{margin-left:0;padding-left:0}

  • Clear Room Dividers Create Sports Center Privacy

    Customer Testimonials
Is anything as pure and uplifting as children at play? At Versare, we cater to an array of businesses built around the needs of children—daycares, schools, libraries, Sunday schools, amusement parks, etc. One recent client needed help improving their indoor exercise area. A-Game Sports, in New Rochelle, New York, is a 25,000-square-foot indoor sports facility. Their primary goal is to teach children how to improve their athletic skills.Kevin Plein, owner of A-Game, came to us with a simple request: provide the students with a space to work out that would provide privacy and focus but also let potential clients see how the operation worked. We figured some clear room dividers would provide visibility while creating space. Our solution: three clear room dividers in our translucent polycarbonate: one Room Divider 360 in 6’10” x 19’6” and two StraightWalls in 6’10” x 15’6”. Our durable poycarbonate panels are shockproof and spray-cleanable, making them perfect to use around child athletes. The clear room divider's panels are mostly transparent, providing visibility even when closed. Their foldability and lightweight aluminum frames also make them easy to put away when not in use, perhaps when teams of kids need to play instead of individuals. The sliding StraightWall partitions stand straight and open easily, while the accordion-style Room Divider 360 is able to bend and curve to create edges, thus completing the practice space.“We had been struggling with building out a strength and conditioning area which would give our athletes and parents alike a place to work out that gave them privacy but also peaked the curiosity of potential clients passing by the space who may want to know more about what's going on in there,” Plein said. “The clear room dividers were the perfect solution; the room dividers gave us the ability to give our clients working out privacy without completely hiding the activity going on in the space."

  • Creating Visual and Acoustical Privacy In a Coworking Space

    Customer Testimonials
Stoke is a coworking space located in the heart of Denton, TX. The open office space is home to local remote workers and entrepreneurs looking for a peaceful place to conduct business. The open office layout enhances the community feeling, allowing members to share ideas and network. Adjacent to the main area is a large, open classroom space with a stage. This section is used for lectures, seminars, coding competitions, and any other presentation. The classroom area, formerly a warehouse, features brick walls, garage doors, and large ceilings. While this appreciated aesthetic adds an interesting touch to the space, it also inhibits acoustics. Sound echoes through the open space, and the brick walls don't do much to dampen sound. Plus, there is no door to the area, so sound can escape into the main work area.We provided several of our Sound Stones acoustical panels to help the coworking space dampen classroom sound. Several units were placed next to the stage area, while an array of sound panels were placed near the entrance to help nullify noise by the kitchen area. The vibrant colors add an interesting design element to the room. Our versatile Room Divider 360 was added to the classroom entrance to provide a door whenever needed. The folding divider uses our acoustical fabric to help balance noise and dampen echo. A large 6'10" x 25' configuration was chosen to fit the large, open walkway. Now, the coworking space is able to separate their classroom area from the rest of the spot, enhancing privacy while adding design flair. Lecture sounds won't interfere with the rest of the space, and the portable nature of the room divider means the space can be easily opened or closed off for events and lectures.
