  • Hip to Be Cube - Choosing The Perfect Office Cubicle Partition

    Product Information
Office cubicles are the most common way to divide large areas into multiple workstations. As a society, we've grown accustomed to the "cube" as being integral to any office environment - often with negative connotations. The rigidity and uniformity of cubicles is often associated with drudgery or loss of individuality, particularly with lower-ranking employees. Not only that, but most office cubicle systems are expensive and time-consuming projects. Building one office cubicle can set you back between $1K-$2K, and tools will be required to construct. So what's the alternative? We offer a variety of room dividers and portable partitions, but in the case of office workstation creation, we highly recommend our Work Station Screens and Hush Panel DIY Cubicle System. Our Work Station Screens are simple folding privacy screens that are perfect for creating or dividing workstation spaces. Choose 1, 2, or 3-panel configurations to quickly create instant work spaces. Our pushpin-accepting acoustical fabric panels provide sound-dampening, while the build-in acrylic windows provide visibility and allow light to permeate into the workstation. These partition panels are lightweight and durable, and can be quickly transported or re-arranged within seconds. For a more robust option, our Hush Panels are completely configurable and require no tools to build. Simply choose the desired amount of panels, posts, and optional windows, then slide together to create instant cubicles. No tools are required in this DIY cubicle system, saving you time and allowing future changes. The thick 2" acoustical fabric panels provide both visual and auditory privacy in any office. The anodized aluminum frame is both rugged and stylish, and will suit any modern office environment. No other cubicle system provides this amount of customization and flexibility - this cubicle partition system will grow with your organization. Break from the mold and check out our full selection of office partitions. With a variety of fabrics, materials, and cubicle partition styles to choose from, Versare cubicles will grow and represent your workforce, not stifle it.

  • Apartment Dividers Create Privacy in Shared Spaces

    Customer Testimonials
With the increasing popularity of sites like Airbnb, travelers and renters are finding alternatives to hotels via shared spaces in houses and apartments. TheHomeShare is a recent San Francisco-based startup dedicated to setting up shared spaces to accommodate multiple tenants. After a prospective renter chooses an apartment and set of roommates, partitions are installed within the unit to divide up bedroom space. TheHomeShare came to Versare looking for a quick, easy, and elegant way to divide space within apartments. Since maximizing space is of the utmost importance in a tight situation like a bedroom, we opted for the StraightWall as a perfect bedroom divider. This telescoping room divider's sliding hinges keep the panels in a straight line regardless of length chosen, so no space is sacrificed while opening and closing the partition. We wanted to ensure maximum privacy, so we suggested our acoustical fabric due to its sound-dampening qualities. The honeycomb core construction provides better sound insulation than other partitions on the market (NRC rating of 0.50). The Designer Slate option was chosen to provide a warm but neutral color to the apartment. TheHomeShare has found great success with these sliding apartment dividers, as they offer an ease of use not found elsewhere on the market. The modern look fits perfectly in homes, while the sound-dampening panels provide next-level privacy. From small bedrooms to large, open loft spaces, Versare room dividers can separate space just about anywhere.

  • Church Dividers Create Instant Event Spaces

    Customer Testimonials
White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, located in Apex, NC, has seen many changes throughout its existence. Founded in 1865, this church has watched generations come and go while the population slowly expanded around it. A problem for many old churches is that they eventually can't hold the large congregations they accumulate. White Oak's parishioners recently found themselves running low on space, particularly areas devoted to Sunday School programs. They were faced with the reality that they would have to share the learning space with their food bank drive area, as well as their banquet room. Regenia S contacted Versare to discuss her situation and to find out what her options were. We recommended a couple of our tried-and-true Room Divider 360 portable accordion partitions. The Room Divider 360's unique rotating hinge allows double the versatility in arrangement as other dividers, making it somewhat of a Swiss Army Knife for small areas requiring frequent space division. "White Oak loves the church dividers - they are great for our multi-purpose space," says Regenia. "We can hold our food bank and a class concurrently, with ease. We can reconfigure the room for a dressy event and hide the food bank freezers and storage behind the very, very nice looking moveable 360 walls. They glide with ease and are easy to handle!" Versare partitions are commonly used in churches and other worship spaces. Check out this previous setup of Room Divider 360s as church dividers.

  • Ditch the Track: Accordion Doors Vs Operable Walls

    Product Information
The need to divide large room space is common in pretty much every industry, so naturally, a large variety of space-saving solutions exists. Accordion doors (or track-mounted door systems) are a classic method of controlling space by hanging suspended from an overhead track on the ceiling. Accordion walls expand and collapse in a folding fashion, hence the name. Versare's Operable Wall is a wall-mounted, floor-based partition, with both accordion (folding) or telescoping (sliding) panel options. This wall-mounted system requires no track and provides a perfect solution for spaces requiring up to 12' high coverage. The Operable Wall is a low-cost alternative to expensive track-mounted Accordion Wall systems, or perfect for areas that can't accept a track system. Track-mounted accordion doors are costly and dated. Generally, both accordion doors and Operable Walls are added to existing spaces. In most cases it’s difficult to add a track to support an accordion door setup. The Operable Wall relies only on the floor and wall for support. Also, when adding a ceiling track for an accordion door, it may be necessary to have a building permit, or engineering support to ensure the ceiling can safely accommodate a track. Also, when installing a track for the Accordion Wall, this divides the ceiling space, which often requires an assessment for proper fire sprinkler and HVAC coverage. Versare's Operable Wall requires no ceiling track. Versare’s Operable Wall relies on a wall-mounted system which eliminates the issues associated with track-mounted systems. This product is considered FF&E, furniture fixture and equipment, so does not require permits, engineering, or HVAC assessments. The unique wall mounting bracket enables the collapsed panel system to rotate and tuck neatly against the wall. Unlike accordion doors, no built-in enclosure is required. Versare's wall-mounted partitions collapsed Basically, Versare’s wall-mounted room dividers offer an effective and cost-efficient solution to save money while dividing your space when heights of up to 12’ are necessary. Unlike complex track-mounted accordion door systems, this space-saving product installs easily, is made in the USA, and is readily available for immediate shipment.

  • Cheers to Craft Brewery Crowd Control Barricades

    Customer Testimonials
There's never been a better time to be a beer lover. With craft beers, breweries, and general beer appreciation taking this great nation by storm, Americans are experiencing the beer world in ways never before possible. These days, the average American lives within 10 miles of a brewery. As with any rapidly-expanding industry, obstacles also quickly arise. Craft brewers face many challenges, such as access to market, cost of raw materials and ingredients, and ultimately operation costs in a highly-regulated and highly-taxed industry. Part of the challenge for craft brewers is creating a facility that draws in locals to help drive their brand. In establishing the proper facility, brewers have two basic needs to fulfill: (a) an operation to produce the product, and (b) a facility to attract locals to sample the product. This type of environment requires unique crowd control products, which is why more and more craft breweries are coming to Versare for portable barricades, partitions, and other simple, affordable crowd control solutions. Local Minneapolis brewery Able came to Versare looking for unique crowd control barricades and portable gates to help control customer traffic both indoors and outdoors. Versare was able to provide Able with its simple but effective Protector Expanding Gates to block traffic between the lounge area and the brewing process. These folding gates are lightweight, durable, and collapse easily for quick storage. Able additionally ordered several of our Portable Powder-Coated Barricades to help organize outdoor traffic. The red option was chosen for both barricade styles in order to draw attention to particular areas while fitting the modern aesthetics of the area. We love raising a glass to local businesses and are just as happy as Able with the end result. This Minneapolis craft brewery received attractive and highly-portable crowd control solutions at affordable prices - something we can all drink to. Our reward? Sampling their amazing craft brews, of course.

  • Event Center Partitions Hide Catering Carts Quickly

    Customer Testimonials
Remember the scene in The Wizard of Oz when the Wizard himself orders Dorothy and her friends to, “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”? Well, perhaps if he had hidden behind one of Versare’s sturdy room dividers, he would have a much better time eluding them. When Earle Brown Heritage Center, in our very own city of Minneapolis, needed to hide their wizards at work on food and beverage carts, they came to us. The Center hosts large events, like weddings and meetings, that require a formal setting. Leaving beverage and food carts out took away from the sophistication of the atmosphere and gave the setting a cluttered look. But they had no way of changing that. So they asked us to help them find a portable event center partition that could help them hide the carts. They chose Versare because we have a wide selection of large dividers that would hide multiple carts and allow people to work behind them. Enter the Room Divider 360, the hero in many of our client testimonials. This versatile and portable partition is available in a polycarbonate plastic that is easy to clean, in case of food or drink splashes, by either wiping or hosing down. It is also available in a variety of heights, including the 6’10” option chosen by the event center. This height allows employees to complete their jobs while hidden away from event attendees, making it a perfect event center partition. In the end, the Earle Brown Heritage Center was ecstatic with the choice of the Room Divider 360 because it is an easily moved and folded partition that is a breeze to clean and hides both employees and carts during events. Another happy customer thanks to the magic of Versare.

  • Client Spotlight: Santuario De San Martin Catholic Church Partitions

    Customer Testimonials
My name is Mario Herrera and I am a catechist and involved parishioner at Santuario De San Martin Catholic Church located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the past decade the community of our church has grown to 900+ parishioners. The church was hand built by a community of volunteers over 30 years ago. Our original sanctuary had grown to small and only fit approximately 400 parishioners. The church also did not have any teaching space and had to teach in the pews of the church. In the last 3 years, the new growing community has worked hard and has built a new sanctuary that can accommodate 900+ parishioners. San Martin has become the fastest growing Catholic church in the city and has 568 children enrolled in religious education. Now the children will fully occupy the space of the old sanctuary. This area is now the gathering space for religious education, meeting areas and events. The church's circular shape provided a challenging layout. We were now challenged on how to use this space. Our challenge was one big room, no walls, a lot of children talking and being distracted by the other groups of children all trying to receive their religious education. Although we are a very large group, we are also a very poor community. Our budget was tight and we had to solve the problem on how to create meeting room space in the old sanctuary. The main goal was not to permanently alter the current look and feel of the existing architecture. But be able to create meeting space and try to eliminate sound and distraction. After doing research on room dividers I came across Versare’s Room Divider 360. These walls had everything we needed, and on top of it all Versare gave us 110% Satisfaction, from beginning to receiving and now every day we use these walls. Versare went above and beyond and made sure that we were able to meet our goals and our budget. When comparing all other wall dividers prices, safety, warranty, mobility and looks which were other factors we took into major consideration. Versare blessed us with the best in all these categories. There was no comparison that Versare was the best. We went with (5)-7’.6” x 25’, (1)-7’.6” x 8-6”’,(1)-7’.6” x 14’. These portable walls allowed us to create 6 large meeting spaces with the configuration of our gathering area. And when you say God does things for a reason. These walls fit just right in our gathering space and look as if they have always been a part of the environment and architecture. The church partitions are very nice and, being that they are on casters, are very safe and sturdy, and children have no way to push these room dividers over. The mobility of them is very smooth and they easily glide in position and are able to configure quickly. The church partitions helped us to create meeting areas for all our religious classes and also helped to reduce sound in a large room. These walls have allowed the kids to concentrate in their classes and not be distracted by others outside the meeting area. We have also found that they are very quick to fold up and store away when they are not needed and even help to be used as storage walls and hide things behind them in the corner. We are also looking forward to utilizing them for a upcoming arts and crafts show to create divider booths and use them for art work and displays. There are many possibilities that we are foreseeing and enjoying them we are. We are very grateful and Thankful and are proud to have made a great choice in a great product. Thanks again and God Bless, Mario Herrera, San Martin De Porres Mario, thanks for the kind words - we're always up for a challenge and excited to hear your church partitions are working out so well! • Breaking Waves: Sound-Dampening Partitions Demystified

    Product Information
In addition to creating visual privacy, our sound-dampening partitions offer enhanced acoustic control. There are ways of measuring the acoustical control of a partition, but it can be innitially difficult to understand. Acronyms like NRC and STC may have you thinking things like WTF, but relax - we've created a quick guide to help you better understand acoustics and how our sound-dampening partitions work. It’s time to break down some barriers (metaphorically speaking, of course) and explain what those letters mean, along with the difference between sound blocking and sound absorption. Sound Transmission Class (STC) Sound Transmission Class, or STC, measures how much sound a partition blocks. Unlike your cholesterol or putt putt score, a higher number is usually better when it comes to STC. Sound Transmission Class gives a general idea of how much sound a partition can stop, and it’s the most common sound reduction measurement. However, it cannot be completely relied upon because the human ear responds more to certain frequencies than others. Dampen sound frequencies like your coworker's humming of Lady Gaga tunes Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) Noise Reduction Coefficient, or NRC, measures how much sound a partition absorbs. NRC is used to gauge partitions that are created to absorb (not block) sound. The NRC rating for sound absorbing partitions ranges from 0 (perfectly reflective) to 1 (perfectly absorptive). Think of NRC as the percentage of sound waves that come into contact with the partition without being reflected back (Ex: NRC of .2=20%). NRC ratings depend on a number of variables, like wall conditions and ceiling height.NRC vs. STC You’ve probably gathered by now that the main difference between NRC and STC is that STC gauges materials that block sound, while NRC gauges materials that absorb sound. Versare’s dynamic line of portable partitions includes materials that absorb and block sound. Partitions with dense cores—such as our polycarbonate cores—block sound (high STC rating), while those with lower density cores—like our honeycomb/fiberglass combinations—absorb sound (high NRC rating). Acoustical fabric vs reflective polycarbonate Still feeling overwhelmed? Our team of experts can help you choose the right sound-dampening system to suit your needs.
