  • U.S. Bank Stadium Arranges Space With Versare Dividers

    Product Information
U.S. Bank Stadium opened in Minneapolis last fall to large, enthusiastic crowds. Home of the Minnesota Vikings, the stadium quickly became a place to see and be seen during sporting events. Its popularity will culminate with the hosting of Super Bowl 51 next February. But what stadium operators didn’t anticipate was how extreme the crowds and traffic flow in and around the concourse area would be. Lines were spilling into the concourse and in between open concession stands. They also faced the issue of closing off each stand if needed during on-field events, like the 2017 Draft Party. Versare's polycarbonate partitions are tough enough to ward off the most rabid fans When stadium and foodservice operators approached fellow Minneapolis natives Versare for a solution, we were glad to help. We came up with the Room Divider 360 in a polycarbonate. It offers a level of privacy and flexibility, and it is easily washable. During open events, concession stands can now be easily separated from each other, creating an inviting space to purchase food without the crush of the crowds. In addition to polycarbonate panels, we also offer acoustical fabric and woodgrain laminate panel options. Check out the handy Versare partition panel guide to figure out what's best for your space.

  • Improve Home Office Acoustics and Aesthetics Affordably

    Product Information
Working from home is the dream for many office and cubicle dwellers: no more commute, no dress code, and you already know you like the co-workers (yourself and possibly family or pets). But with the convenience of telecommuting come drawbacks. While you avoid the sounds that other people make in a traditional office environment, you may find that the sounds within your home—or home office, if you have a separate space—make concentration difficult. Those noises can also make meetings on the phone or in person unpleasant, particularly if they reverberate. Our Sherbet sound panels brighten home office walls while dampening sound Thankfully Versare has telecommuters covered with Sound Stones. These sound-dampening acoustic panels feature a premium construction not found on rival sound panels, which commonly feature fiberglass foam cores. Sound Stones utilize a 100% recyclable 2000-gram density nonwoven polyester to dampen sound in a more efficient and environmentally-friendly manner. With over 20 acoustical fabric colors to choose from, these sound panels can complement any home office decor. Our new fabric color, Sherbet, will make your walls pop and add warmth to your walls with a bright orange flair. Whether you're meeting with clients, conducting phone or web meetings, or simply trying to focus without the click-clack of your typing echoing off the walls, Sound Stones will enhance the serenity of your home office. Versare can't prevent cat steps on your keyboard, dog barks during phone calls, or noisy neighbors mowing their lawns, but we can offer a stylish and affordable sound-dampening solution to your home office space.

  • Build a Work Fort and Create Instant Workstation Privacy

    Product Information
The rise of tech startups in the early 2000s brought with it the rise of the open-concept office in the United States. According to Fortune Magazine, the plan was originally a 1950s German design that Americans were slow to adopt. Open offices are intended to cultivate an environment of cooperation and creativity, with ideas flowing freely and no walls to block them. Soon, the concept spread from startups to larger, corporate environments. A desktop privacy panel subtly conceals a workstation But with open offices come unique obstacles. While an open workstation layout is great for fostering teamwork for group projects and brainstorming sessions, employees focus at least half of their time on individual work. These offices can be full of distractions. With no auditory barriers, an open office environment can be noisier than traditional offices. And some employees find the lack of visual barrier to be distracting and detract from privacy - who hasn't been a little protective of their work space from wandering coworker's eyes? As open office spaces become more prevalent, so does the desire for workstation privacy. Work Forts allow you to create privacy while maintaining an open flow Versare offers a solution to distracted office workers: Work Forts. With these customizable desktop privacy partitions, employees can build a series of privacy panels to enclose or divide work spaces without impeding the open-office flow. With the two included brackets per Work Fort, each privacy panel can attach to a tabletop or desktop between 3/4" and 2” thick without the use of permanent hardware or damage to the surface. They can be easily attached—or detached—quickly, allowing work spaces to be altered to fit teams or projects of varying sizes. Enclose yourself affordably with these sound-dampening privacy panels Available in 3 shapes and over 20 acoustical fabric options, Work Forts provide a truly customizable way to provide workstation privacy or divide desk space. Work Forts provide high-quality noise reduction without impairing visibility, thus preserving the collaborative environment.

  • Create Instant Cubicles for Temporary Workers During Tax Season

    Product Information
The cold chill in the air can only mean one thing - tax time is here. During tax season, many accounting agencies, financial firms, and other businesses may find themselves supplementing their existing workforce with temporary employees. This challenging time of the year can find accounting departments struggling to keep up with work and tax preparation, thus creating more duties for temp workers. These interim staff members support staff but oftentimes need areas to set up shop and get to work. Standard office cubicles are costly and time-consuming to set up, so a truly portable, temporary partition option is ideal for these seasonal employees. Hush Panel DIY Cubicles are a common remedy for office spaces during tax season. The tool-less nature and plug-and-play design of these lightweight cubicle partitions ensures an ease of use not found elsewhere. Each panel slides into the posts, allowing a wide variety of customizations. Simple cubicle shapes consisting of 3 panels can be easily and affordably expanded by building onto the existing posts. Multiple workstations can be fashioned in minutes, and by a single person, unlike most cubicles on the market, which require teams and tools for creation. Wall-mounted cubicle dividers in action The Hush Panel cubicle wall-mount bracket allows panels to be connected directly to the wall, providing even more office space-saving flexibility. Call centers can be quickly created, allowing temporary staff to integrate efficiently within financial firms, banks, and any other business departments welcoming new accounting professionals. Tax specialists and firms often set up temporary tax stations within grocery stores or drug stores. Hush Panel Cubicles allow quick creation of these workstations, so agencies and tax firms can comfortably set up temporary stations for customers. Since only one person is required for setup, businesses can save time and money while expanding their outreach. The 2" thick acoustical fabric panels provide excellent sound-dampening for privacy, while optional windows provide light and visibility. • Acoustical Wall Building for Podcast Pros

    Product Information
Do you remember the days of bulky Walkmans and disc players? It may be a surprising reminder that the Walkman was invented only 35 years ago, though many of us oldies have observed this technology come and go during our lifetime, evolving into smaller, more efficient, and more complex devices. Gadgets come and go, but good acoustical control transcends tech. We have seen the emergence of music, video and broadcasting on-demand. Almost everybody we know has a device that carries a music library that would make most professional musicians blush. Listeners can stream music, video, television, radio and any other digital media twenty-four hours a day. With the ability to stream over Wi-Fi or data plans, we have witnessed the resurgence of podcasts. Even more, technology has enabled podcasters to create media without having to leave their home office or apartment. iTunes alone has more than 250,000 podcasts currently streaming through the network. Although advancements in technology have taken some of the heat off of the need for a professional recording booth, in order to get a well-recorded podcast with proper sound, podcasters need more than their mobile device. The need for professional recording equipment is still there and many podcasters face the issue of affordability. Just some of the equipment needed for a professional recording booth are microphones, preamplifiers, analog-to-digital interfaces, and recording software. But the most overlooked and important piece of all this equipment is actually the recording space. That’s right, the acoustics of the recording space are probably even more important to the sound of a podcast than the mic and preamp. The good news is that you can dramatically improve the acoustics of just about any space with the right material. Ideally the space in which you record should be a “dead space”, that is, a space where most of the sound made by your mouth is caught by the microphone in front of you, and the rest is absorbed, not reflected, by the surfaces around you. Many home recording spaces have sought Versare partitions and sound panels for affordable acoustical control. Since much of the echo that may be heard on a recording comes from walls closest to the microphone, it's a sensible solution to place your partition or sound panel close to your recording area. Many podcasters have had great success by utilizing Versare’s VersiPanel and/or VersiFold acoustical wall to create a concave divider that curves around the back of the mic at a distance of about a foot. This very quickly absorbs much of the sound coming from your mouth, and prevents it from bouncing back at the mic, causing echo. The VersiPanel and VersiFold dividers are constructed with acoustical ribbed fabric and heavy foam cores. They feature heavy stitch line construction versus tradition glued systems. They also come with powerful 20lbs rare-earth magnets to connect multiple panels together. This is a perfect solution for creating an acoustical wall within your studio, or using as an acoustical backdrop on a stage or behind a podium. Versare’s acoustical product line has been rigorously tested and received a .60 NRC rating from an independent third party lab. It's no wonder these heavy-duty partitions are used so frequently for podcasting and voice recording.

  • Affordable Accordion Door Alternatives

    Product Information
Most people know of accordion doors from seeing them in hotels, schools and churches. These partitions became popular throughout the 1980s by offering a way to create a temporary wall between two spaces. The panels collapse and expand (hence the "accordion" name) and run along a ceiling-mounted rail. They offer a convenient way to divide space without having a permanent wall. The problem is that installation of these track-mounted divider systems can be cumbersome and expensive. Anything attached to a ceiling is often covered by local building codes and associated fees. Many codes won't allow anything close to a sprinkler head, and others regulate HVAC circulation. Track-mounted accordion doors simply don't provide the same value as Versare partition walls. With starting prices close to $1,000/foot (just for the accordion doors), expect a possible increase of $30,000 – $100,000 to move sprinklers, improve HVAC, or strengthen the ceiling. As you can see, cost becomes a big factor. The Operable Wall provides more benefits at a fraction of the price of a track-mounted partition system. A portable or wall-mounted room divider is not only more cost-effective, but can also be easily relocated, in case the room situation needs to change or a different arrangement is desired. Versare portable room dividers collapse quickly for easy storage, while build-in panel locks make transport a cinch. Versare wall-mounted partitions function similarly to accordion doors, but without the track mount. The space between the divider and the ceiling ensures proper air flow and ventilation while still providing the same amount of privacy. Our Operable Wall system uses special 2" thick panels, greatly reducing sound and increasing room privacy. With dozens of size, color, and panel material options, we offer something to fit just about any situation.

  • Sink or Swim: Aircraft Aluminum or Submarine Steel Room Dividers?

    Product Information
When it comes to portability, we assume you want something lightweight and strong. After all - portability should imply ease. So why is it that when it comes to portable room dividers, we're the only ones using aluminum frames? Our competition has been using heavy steel frames since the 1980s - no joke. While we respect the idea of tradition, we feel it's a little more important to improve upon the user experience, so we engineer our dividers differently. It's referred to as "aircraft aluminum" due to its popular application within the aerospace industry on planes, space shuttles, and more. Aluminum has a light weight and low density that resists corrosion through passivation. What this means is that aluminum will not rust, even if scratched. Steel, on the other hand, rusts easily, and in areas involving constant use and children, this could become a health and safety hazard. Also known for its resilience, aluminum can carry large loads while absorbing shock or impact. Aluminum can handle a range of extreme temperatures and situations with grace, which is why it's the preferred metal for air travel. What does all this mean for you and your room divider search? We guarantee our aircraft aluminum frames are lighter and stronger than common steel room dividers in the marketplace. This ensures a much greater ease of use, both in relocating and opening / closing our portable room dividers. Cumbersome, heavy steel frames in the competition’s dividers just can’t compare. So what it boils down to is: do you want to fly high with aircraft aluminum or sink with submarine steel? sources: https://news.stanford.edu/pr/00/aluminum511.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium
